💡✨Inspiration, Books, and other Creators that are fuelling my journey….
I wanted to share some inspiring resources that have been fuelling my journey these past few weeks including a music video that blew my mind from back in 2002!
While I was away during the summer I was travelling a lot, this created a lot of additional time and to be completely honest my initial reaction was to reach for my phone, check messages, have a scroll - we’ve all been there, getting lost in the digital distractions.
I remember in ‘Ego is the Enemy’ Ryan Holiday mentions the idea of there being ‘dead time’ and ‘alive time’. Meaning we either use our time wastefully or we use it too learn and grow.
Every moment is a choice.
With this in mind I decided to use the time to read. Replacing my phone with my kindle so I could use the time to grow and further my knowledge. When I’m reading books that inspire me I always feel that my work and life is better, everything just seems to flow!

I’ve also just picked up a book called ‘The Illusion of Life’ about Disney animation by Frank and Ollie Johnston. I’ve only just started it but it really goes into the intricacy and craft that went into Disney’s animations in the early days, the struggles they had to overcome and how they made iconic and magical masterpieces that are still being watched today.

To finish with, I have to share this music video which blew my mind. It was directed by Michel Gondry back in 2002, and wow just watch it! The cleverness of the choreography and post production creates a pure masterclass. A mesmeric video!
